sumzing funny

This was sent to me recently

European English
The European Commssion has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German which was the other possibility.
As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5 year phase in plan that would become known as "Euro English"

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c".
Sertainly this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.

The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion
and keyboards kan have one less letter. There will be growing publik enthusiasm
in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f".

This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.
In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach
the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.
Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always been a
deterent to akurate speling.
Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it
should go away.

By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and
"w" with "v".

During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o' kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and
after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensibl riten styl.

Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech oza.
Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.
Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst plas.

If zis mad you smil, pleas pas on to oza pepl.

Ski in Australia

While it is still warm here in australia, the rest of the northern hemisphere is under 3ft of snow, so in the theme of this i am  promoting alana alpine apartments here in victoria for our upcoming snow season.
Falls Creek alpine resort is a premier destination for winter sports hosting many world class events including style wars comp among many. There are excellent facilities for the beginner through to the advanced skier/ boarder, and is a wonderful destination for families.
There are 3 bedrooms in each apartment, which are fully renovated, completely self contained with full kitchen, laundry and bathroom facilities and drying closet in each apartment. The location is excellent, ski in/out and walk to everything, shuttle stop opposite if needed.
There are photos on my page which will link to the website for the apartments, so have a look and tell your friends.

template issues

I did a new template for my blog a little while ago and I have been trying to figure out why leaving comment/ return message was difficult and it seems the word verification box was too small unless the reader scrolled down and across so i just removed this option and now anyone can send a message.... hello?? where is everyone? Oh thats alright i am patient. hmmm. hey marg how you doin?
well not  much else new, just working and doing the odd bit of sewing/ knitting, the latest project is a phone sock requested from my son, complete with his initial and a pair of red smiley lips! He's nearly 17 so i thought it was cute. Then i have to finish the jumper i started for my daughter, should be ready for winter - which will be all of a couple of cool days maybe as low as 15c if we are lucky. Will post photos later, muuuch later!
